Payroll Specialist

Responsibilites

In this position, which reports to the CFO, you will be part of a team that is responsible for:

  • Weekly in-house payroll
  • Calculating payroll according to union contract provisions
  • Remittance of payroll taxes, garnishments, and 401(k) payroll deductions
  • Processing employee Expense Reports
  • Logging payroll related job costing
  • Job / Budget reconciliations
  • Other payroll related projects as needed
  • Providing support and backup to other administrative staff as needed

 

Qualifications
 

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on payroll experience; in-house payroll experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working in an entertainment labor environment is a plus
  • Computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, MAS90/Sage 100 experience a plus
